Lee Soo Geun, Tak Jae Hoon, and Tony Ahn Are Under Investigation for Illegal Sports Gambling

Variety show hosts Lee Soo Geun and Tak Jae Hoon; singer Tony Ahn and other celebrities are currently under investigation for their alleged involvement in illegal online gambling.

According to a news report by SBS, the two variety show stars have bet billions worth of Korean won on various online sports betting websites. Their involvement was uncovered after a series of investigations on a gambling business and its brokers.

SM C&C confirmed that Lee Soo Geun is being investigated and was recently suspended from broadcast activities. "We accept most of the allegations. He will stop his broadcasts and take some time to reflect on his actions," SM C&C representatives said.

"We have nothing to say even if we had ten mouths," the representatives continued, "We apologize to everyone who has supported him thus far."

Tak Jae Hoon and Tony Ahn have also been summoned by prosecutors for investigation, but their respective agencies have not spoken about the matter. However, sources from Tony Ahn's "Handsome Boys of the 20^th Century" said, "We didn't know about Tony Ahn's controversy. He hasn't said anything yet about leaving the show."

The three stars are involved in the same case concerning a specific gambling ring.
