Girls' Generation recently made a huge splash in Hong Kong following the success of their "2013 Girls' Generation World Tour: Girls & Peace Live in Hong Kong". The two-day concert was held at Hong Kong's Asia World Expo Arena on November 9 and 10. The show was attended by approximately 22,000 SONEs.
The group performed 25 songs on their set list, including their big time hits "Gee", "Genie", "Hoot" and other Japanese tracks.
The jubilant fans sang and dance to every Girls' Generation performs and during the group's rendition of "Baby Baby" during the November 9 show, the audience held up fan signs that read "MY GG!" On the 10th, fans put up signs that said, "We will protect you forever!"
The girls are now heading back to Korea to participate in the week-long festival called "SMTOWN WEEK".
During their stay in Hong Kong, several Girls Generation were caught in a case of mistaken identity after a Hong Kong news outlet revealed a report that Taeyeon and YoonA were caught partying hard in famous district in Hong Kong. A reliable source named Mr.K who is close to Hyoyeon of SNSD clarified the issue and said that the girls in the footage were not Taeyeon and YoonA but were a cousin of his together with a friend.
In the meantime, as Girls Generation made their way through the Hong Kong airport, member Jessica attained an injury after an airport security accidentally knocked her down as the personnel mistakenly thought Jessica was a fan who got through the cordon.
Indeed, it has been one string of eventful days for Girls Generation at Hong Kong!
