JYJ Member Junsu Invests 12.9 Billion Won on an Hotel in Jeju Island

JYJ Junsu expands his wealth by investing 12.9 billion won in the construction of a hotel in Jeju Island.

JYJ's Junsu, aside from being a influential singer and actor, is now gearing up to become a legitimate businessman after investing 12.9 billion Korean won (approximately 12 million USD) in the construction of a hotel in Seogwipo City, Jeju Island.

According to the business plan released by the Jeju Special Sel-Governing Province, the "Jeju Toscana Hotel" will be built around 21,000 square meters of land in Gangjeong-dong, Seogwipo, Jeje Island. The project was approved in November last year and began construction in April this year.

The hotel's target day of completion will be around March. The Jeju Toscana Hotel will hold 65 rooms, with facilities such as an outdoor pool, restaurant café, spa, and seminar room.

A rep from the company said, "The Investment Promotion Appointment District is affirmatively reviewing suggested plans of having cultural performances such as musicals, K-Pop star events, K-pop signing events, Korean band and musician invitation events, and Korean b-boy dance events.

Earlier this year, Junsu was named the number 1 celebrity with the highest property wealth. Junsu enjoys a penthouse worth 2.6 billion won, a townhouse worth 1.8 billion won (which he reportedly bought for his parents), and a Jeju Island property worth 15-20 billion won.
