Han Hyo Joo's Ex-Managers Put Into Custody For Threatening The Actress' Father

Three of Han Hyo Joo's former managers were taken into police custody after threatening the actress' father in exchange for money.

Actress Han Hyo Joo's former managers namely Mr. Yoon, Mr. Lee, and Mr. Hwang have been taken under custody after posing threats at the actress' father. According to reports, the said mangers told Han Hyo Joo's father they would submit photos of the actress and her boyfriend to the press if he wouldn't give them 400 million won (approximately 377,000 USD). Mr. Lee and Mr. Hwang have been prosecuted without detention.

The prosecutor stated that Mr. Lee got hold of 16 photos of Han Hyo Joo with her boyfriend after transferring the photos from the actress' digital camera and onto his cell phone.

The photos were then forward to Mr. Yoon, who personally contacted Han Hyo Joo's father and blackmailed him. The former manager went to the Philippines to avoid being traced and caught. However, he continued with the threats, sending 2 copies of the photos to the actress' father and said, "I still have over 20 photos of your daughter's personal life. If you do not give me 20 million won (19,000) per photo, I will release these to the media. Do whatever you want."

Mr. Lee and Mr. Hwang were traced through cell phone records. After the two's arrest, Mr. Yoon later on surfaced as the mastermind to the crime. Prior to their arrest, it was said that Han Hyo Joo's father already provided them 10 million won to help alleviate the threats.
