Super Junior member Kim Heechul recently shared his thoughts on sasaeng fans during the December 12 broadcast of the JTBC variety program "Ssul Jeon".
Being a member of one of the hottest boy group that ever hit the music business, Heechul is no amateur when it comes to dealing with sasaeng fans. Through the years, Heechul has also seen how rabid and uncontrollable these fans can become; sometimes even putting celebrities at risk.
On sasaengs Heechul commented, "Sasaeng fans shouldn't be called fans at all. You can see me in my workplace, but it's definitely a no if you invade my privacy. I don't even use public bathrooms even when I need to go. I am extra careful whenever I go to the toilet, because you'll never know who may be following you with a camera. I usually go inside and lock the door. Even when I'm inside the toilet stall, I have to do it in a position which makes me look like I am doing the Michael Jackson dance, because fans sometimes climb up adjacent toilet stalls to take photos."
With this, Heechul showed his disappointment at fans that go overboard. Heechul isn't the first to show such dismay. Lately, EXO's Tao posted an angry note on his Weibo account telling sasaeng fans to back off and respect his privacy.
