TASTY revealed that they are not Korean but actually are Chinese.

The duo just debuted more than a year ago, but didn't talked about their nationality. They did not intentionally keep it as a secret, but had been scared of typecasts that would have arisen with their nationality.

However, now they've gotten bigger, and other celebrities like Fei, Jia, and Zhoumi have called them "Our Chinese friends", and they've even talked in Chinese on the episode.

The boys stated, "We are K-pop singers. We left China when we were 18 to come to Korea. Since we started our promotions here, we want to be approved in Korea first. Even if we go overseas, we'd never fall short in our Korean promotions."

TASTY is a duo from Woolim Entertainment, formed in 2012. They are actually twins. Before their debut, the duo were trainees under JYP Entertainment. After passing the auditions for JYP back in 2006, the twins were sent to the United States and lived there for 3 years to train for their debut. During their stay in the U.S., the duo trained under choreographers that worked with Beyonce and Ne-yo.
