What would loyal fan clubs do in a situation when their idol is debased? Come to their rescue of course. That's exactly what SHINee World did after Ilbe users attacked SHINee member Jonghyun after the latter used a human rights poster as his profile picture.
On December 14, Jonghyun changed his Twitter profile photo to a picture of the "How Are You" poster, clearly showing his support for social sciences student from Sungkonghoe University.
The "How Are You" poster was created by a social sciences student who claimed to be a transgender, thus creating the poster in the hopes of promoting awareness about the human rights of homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgenders.
Ilbe, being an online community of self-professed conservatives, frowned upon Jonghyun's stance. This led to the group's trashing SHINee's online communities by leaving hateful messages targeting the singer. To protect, Jonghyun, SHINee World lashed back at Ilbe users.
In the meantime, the issue remains unresolved and Ilbe members continue to post inappropriate photos on SHINee World's website.
