Lee Min Ho Greeted By 2,000 Fans At Singapore Airport

Lee Min Ho's popularity is growing exponentially in Singapore as evidenced by 2,000 fans who came to the airport to welcome the star upon his arrival.

Lee Min Ho recently landed in Singapore on December 16 to participate in promotional activities for cosmetics brand Innisfree. Upon his arrival at the airport, “The Heirs” star was warmly welcomed by over 2,000 fan. Lee Min Ho immediately became a local hot trending topic on Twitter.

A source revealed, “It’s been three year since Lee Min Ho’s last visit to Singapore. But it was never in our imagination that the effect of his popularity would be as overwhelming as this. We are surprised and yet thankful at the same time. We are really grateful to fans for their love. Nevertheless, we’re still looking out for everyone’s safety. We don’t know what could happen, so we can’t take things lightly.”

After Lee Min Ho completes his activities in Singapore, he will proceed to China to shoot a commercial. Next year, the star will also hold an encore performance of his global fan meeting tour “My Everything”, which will be held on January 18 in Seoul’s Olympic Park Handball Stadium.

Furthermore, fans will get to see Lee Min Ho on the big screen as he’s signed on to play the lead character in Gangnam Blues. Lee Min Ho will begin filming for the movie in spring of 2014. “Gangnam Blues” is scheduled for release in the first half of 2014.
