Looks like Lee Seung Gi and Girls' Generation member YoonA are starting the year with a bang as they announced their current dating status!
News outlet Dispatch released a shocking report on December 31 revealing that Lee Seung Gi and Im YoonA are dating and even published several photos taken on their date last October 8.
According to the report, Lee Seung Gi picked up YoonA at her home, and together they went for a private date by the Han River. At that time, Lee Seung Gi was still fresh from his Japan concert and he had bought a present for YoonA.
Dispatch revealed that the two have been dating since September and that they've been monitoring the couple for any developments to their love story. The reporter describes YoonA and Lee Seung Gi's relationship as a "nice love" wherein the two are very considerate of each and they never went out past 1AM.
They maintain a very private dating schedule. Since they both live with their parents, the dates are usually taken outside and most of the time they just stay inside their cars.
SM Entertainment immediately gave a comment on the issue. Surprisingly, they confirmed that the two are indeed lovebirds, saying, "Right now, Lee Seung Gi and YoonA are getting to know each other pretty well."
Hook Entertainment, Lee Seung Gi's agency, also confirmed the report and said, "We won't divulge further details since it's a matter personal to [Lee Seung Gi]. But it is all true that they are dating. And since they are still very young and just recently started their relationship, please take care of them both.
Lee Seung Gi has been very upfront about her admiration for YoonA and each time he appears on television shows and asked whom his ideal type is he would consistently pick YoonA.
With this new blossoming tandem, Lee Seung Gi and YoonA may well be regarded as Korea's "it" golden couple.
