Girls' Generation's YoonA again has received appreciation for her acting skills in KBS2 drama "Prime Minister and I" in winning the "Outstanding Actress in a Mini Series" Award at the 2013 KBS Drama Awards.
YoonA attended the event wearing a beautiful white dress looking sophisticated and attractive. She stood on the red carpet for photos before entering the venue.
The presenter of "Outstanding Actress in a Mini Series" was the actor Yoon Gye Sang. Yoona, who was among the hosts of the event that night with Shin Hyun Joon, Lee Mi Sook, and Joo San Wook, looked stunned when her name was called out as the winner.
On her acceptance speech, YoonA said, "First, I want to thank you all. I really did not expect this. I was thankful just to be nominated since "Prime Minister and I" is still airing. I want to say thank you to the director Lee So Yeon, fellow actors; Lee Bom Soo sunbae, Shi Yoon oppa, Jeong Ahn unnie, and Ryu Jin oppa, and my company family,"
"Actually, I feel embarrassed to accept this award in front of all the senior actors here. I will work harder to become a true actress like Lee Mi Suk sunbae, Na Mun Hee sunbae, Kim Hye Soo sunbae, and others," she added.
The drama, "Prime Minister and I" is currently airing every Monday and Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. KST on KBS2.
