On January 3, 2PM leader Taecyeon stunned fans when he posted several tweets to open up about his thoughts on JYP Entertainment. It turns out that the singer-actor is not completely satisfied with how things are at the agency.
Taecyeon tweeted, "If you award a promotion to someone who did not even help or manage things, what does that make those who stayed by my side to help and manage? Did you make a choice that can be justified? Even I as a talent in the company do not understand this. How do you thank the fans will respond? JYP needs a reformation in 2014."
He continued, "The company needs to be reformed so much so that the people are not just working for the sake of having their hours time-stamped, but because they feel that they are one with the company and the work is worth it. If an entertainment company cannot even entertain its own employees, how does that reflect on the public? Whether or not the company is in the top three, it is not the time to be focused on the title. Rather, it's time to ensure internal stability."
"If our company wants to aim to be the best once again in 2014, I think the power lies not just in the hands of producers, but in the whole staff as well. Here's to the unappreciated staff members who deserve actual credit."
