Korean artists, HyunA and Jay Park is set to perform at the 2014 SXSW Music Festival on March 11-16 in Austin, Texas. The stars' names were up on the third list announced on January 7.
SXSW contains a series of film, interactive and music festivals and conferences, which is the largest music festival of its kind. The general manager of the SXSW Music Festival, James Minor, thought that HyunA is a great fit after being featured with PSY in the sensational "Gangnam Style."
The festival includes not just American artists, but also artists from all over the world, getting together in this music festival.
This showcase will cater to HyunA's first time to perform alone overseas. HyunA, who appeared in PSY's "Gangnam Style" music video and received the attention of music fans abroad. "Gangnam Style," which was released in July 2012, has been currently viewed over 1.8 billion times.
Other than HyunA, other prominent Korean acts which is included in the festival are Jay Park, Crying Nut, Idiotape, Jang Gi Ha and the Faces, Nell, No Brain, YB and Glen Check, which is a total of 15 performers from Korea.
