U-KISS member AJ is still making waves in the United States despite being on an idol hiatus.
After being featured in an article for the "New York Post" earlier this week, AJ was then invited to appear on the hit American morning television show "Good Morning America".
Similarly with the article, AJ was described by host Sara Haines as the "real life Hannah Montana". In addition, U-KISS was also mentioned as "Korea's One Direction". The segment discussed about AJ's scholastic activities at Columbia University and his "double life" as a popular celebrity in South Korea.
Despite U-KISS and AJ's popularity throughout Asia, AJ's friends at Columbia University still have no idea that he's actually a singer. AJ said, "I wanted to be treated as a student, a friend to everyone. Not as 'AJ the singer [from U-KISS]'."
Now with the spotlight on him, folks at Columbia University will definitely be having a hard time ignoring the fact that he's a big act back home in Korea.
AJ is current studying psychology at the said university.
