Heechul Reflects On Growing Up And Getting Old

Recently, Heechul left a heartfelt post on Instagram that reflected on the years that have gone. 30 year old Super Junior Kim Heechul is certainly not getting any younger.

30 year old Super Junior Kim Heechul is certainly not getting any younger. After he completed his military service last year, the singer has grown more mature and reflective about his growth. Recently, Heechul left a heartfelt post on Instagram that reflected on the years that have gone.

Heechul updated his Instagram on January 12 with a photo captioned, "I feel I've gotten older. I feel I've reached a time when I have to attend weddings and funerals more often than usual. When I was younger, I used to laughingly say, 'I wonder why people make wishes on the moon. Will their wishes even come true?' In retrospect I now think, 'How desperate those people must have been.' Even when I know it's hard for everyone to be happy, I just wish not everyone is having a difficult time."

The photo attached to the message was of Super Junior during their "Sorry Sorry" era. The photo still included Hangeng and Kibum, former members who have now proceeded with their own paths.

In line with this, Heechul's Super Junior co-member Leeteuk heard of the unfortunate death of his father and grandparents. Heechul was among the people close to Leeteuk who comforted him until the very last.
