After the speculations that went out regarding Nicole transferring to Core Contents Media, it also has been reported that Nicole is in talks of joining Wellmade StarM.

As reported by an exclusive news by 'Ilgan Sports', a music insider has mentioned on January 22, "As the entertainment industry focuses on Nicole, Wellmade StarM reps approached her the most actively. It's said the reps of Wellmade StarM also attended KARA's last concert in Japan last year to talk with her."

As we recall, former T-ara member Hwayoung has previously joined Wellmade, and with regards to this, the source mentioned, "Although Hwayoung plans to make her debut as an actress under Wellmade StarM first, she is also preparing for [her career as] a singer. The agency representatives approached Nicole with the thought of forming a possible female duo consisting of Nicole and Hwayoung."

After the report, Wellmade StarM issued a statement, "It's true we did negotiate regarding a contract about a month back, but we haven't talked since then... As of right now, it is not true that she is being recruited." When asked about the possible Hwayoung-Nicole duo, the rep remarked, "It seems like a joke we made about forming a duo with Hwayoung was misinterpreted."

With the back to back speculations that are coming out, Nicole's side also put issues to rest as they stated, "There is nothing that has been decided regarding the agency issue. We will take time to seriously think over it... For now, she'll be focusing on training. She is planning to pursue solo activities later on."
