MBLAQ's Lee Joon Takes the Role of a Barista in tVN's Drama 'Gabdongi'

Lee Joon is confirmed to move a step higher in his acting career in new tvN drama 'Gabdongi.'

The representative of the drama told Dispatch on the February 4, "Lee Joon has been cast for the lead role in 'Gapdongi'... Yoon Sang Hyun, Kim Min Jung, Kim Ji Won, and Sung Dong Il will also star in the drama. They are currently practicing the script and looking forward to their first filming."

J.Tune Camp has also confirmed by telling Star News also on February 4, "Lee Joon has been cast for the role of Ru Tae Oh in 'Gabdongi'". The agency also revealed plans for MBLAQ's comeback this month, "Lee Joon is simultaneously preparing for his role and new album to be released this month... He plans to stand before fans through acting and music in the first-half of this year. We ask that you show a lot of interest and anticipation."

As stated previously, the singer/actor is set to play the role of Ryu Tae Oh who is a barista in his 20's with both visuals and brains with his IQ of 150 and sharp memory.

'Gabdongi' takes place in the make-believe city of Iltan where the suspect of a serial murder case Gabdongi is being tracked down by detectives. The drama will be directed by 'Cheongdamdong Alice' and 'I Hear Your Voice's PD Cho Soo Won.

The drama is set to start after 'I Need Romance 3' on March 10 at 9:40 PM KST.
