Girl’s Day was feateured as guests on KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” on February 7, wherein they performed their hit tracks “Expectation” and “Something,” and had a mini-interview with host Yoo Hee Yeol.

It was two years ago when the girls performed at the end of the show, but without a talk segment. Hyeri had noted that in comparison to then, the cheers were much louder this time and thanked fans for their support.

Host Yoo Hee Yeol had asked if they were okay with their name. The girls answered that Girl’s Day was somehow the best choice in the list, which included Ice cream and Diamond.

He has also asked them about them about miss A and Sistar, two girl groups which had their debut around the same time as Girl’s Day. “Didn’t you feel restless since your group became popular relatively later?”

Sojin answered, “We thought that going slowly meant we would be able to experience and learn more, but we’ve actually gone through a lot. People associate a group with its debut song. Ours was ‘Tilt My Head.’”

The girls agreed that Sistar’s “Push Push” and miss A’s “Bad Girl Good Girl” had greater impact as debut tracks.

Yoo Hee Yeol mentioned that Girl’s Day’s popularity had been known with the release of “Expectation,” “Did you know how well you would do?”

Minah paused for awhile then said, “More than knowing we would do well, we really really wanted to do well.”

Then they were asked what the most difficult thing that they had done while being in a girl group was. Yura responded, “Dieting. I wanted to eat earlier, but I couldn’t eat because I was afraid of my stomach showing.” Sojin also commented, “Being in a girl group means that even when you’re sitting still, you’re supposed to look cute and fresh, but I’ll be turning 30 in a year (Korean age).”

Mentioning their dreams, Hyeri stated, “Even if after time has passed, when people think back to this period, I hope they’ll remember Girl’s Day.”
