A month ago, SISTAR member Hyolyn released the official music video of her Korean take on the hit "Frozen" soundtrack, "Let It Go". Today, Hyolyn official released the song as a single.
Following the release of the music video, Hyolyn's version of "Let It Go" has been gaining a lot of attention, complimenting the movie's success in the box office.
Hyolyn said, "I am really happy to be [singing the song] on the end credits of a Disney movie, which I have always enjoyed watching."
The complete soundtrack for "Frozen" continues to rank high in the Hanteo and MelOn music charts in Korea. Other Korean artists have also made their rendition of "Let It Go", originally sung by Hollywood actress Indina Menzel on the movie.
Hyolyn is the second Korean singer to have been selected to sing the official Korean version of a Disney soundtrack. Lena Park was the first Korean to do so when she sang the Korean version of the "Mulan" soundtrack, "Reflection".
