The year started with a bang for the many girl groups because of their sensual concept and because of this, the Korean Communications Standards Comission (KCSC) had to do some action.
It has been stated that the KCSC recently called the staff members of SBS' "Inkigayo," KBS' "Music Bank" and MBC's "Show! Music Core" for a meeting.
The issue of concern was in the sexy concepts for the many different girl groups like Dal Shabet, Girl's Day, AOA, Rainbow, Stellar and more.
The KCSC gave their stand on the issue of showing too much skin on their live program and conferred future plans on how each of the music programs will address this matter.
The music programs have been reviewing each group, sometimes asking groups to change their outfits or choreography or even forbidding some groups from broadcast in the past.
The KCSC has strongly stressed that the girl groups' level of revelation is too much and that tighter rules and restrictions needed to be made.
A lot have been saying that it is too late as many of those previously cited girl groups are wrapping up their promotions. But, it might be a stepping stone to prevent controversies from arising in the future.
For the meantime, Stellar's comeback fired up in the most recent controversy for their exaggeratedly sexual marketing tactics.
