AOA's Seolhyun Joins Lee Min Ho in the Cast of the Movie "Gangnam Blues"

The sweet AOA member gets to be casted along with Lee Min Ho in the 1970's themed movie. According to last week’s reports wherein AOA member Seolhyun has tried out for “Gangnam Blues,” it has been confirmed today that the she will be casting in the film.

According to last week’s reports wherein AOA member Seolhyun has tried out for “Gangnam Blues,” it has been confirmed today that the she will be casting in the film.

Seolhyun was one who were with many other idols and young actors that audition for the movie, with the competition rate of 500:1. She will be playing the role of Sun Hye, a figurative younger sister of the lead male in the movie. Sun Hye is like a younger sister to the hero, Jong Dae, who grew up as an orphan. Sun Hye is family to Jong Dae, who tries hard to protect her until the very end. Top actor, Lee Min Ho has already been casted as Jong Dae, who has been said as a tragic hero.

“Gangnam Blues” is set in the 1970's, right at the start of the real estate boom and development of the Gangnam area, and goes through the story of conflict between the government and other darker organizations in their struggle to gain control and influence. Directed by Yoo Ha, it is said to hit theaters late this year. It is now in the final round of casting and will start filming soon.
