"The Attorney" Grand Slam Winner At "2014 Max Movie Awards"

Mega blockbuster hit, "The Attorney", was a big winner at the recently held "2014 Max Movie Awards". The event took place on March 3 at the National Theatre of Korea.

ZE:A member and now legit actor Im Siwan received the award for Best New Actor. Song Kang Ho won Best Actor, while Kim Young Ae took home the Best Actress award. Kwak Do Won also won the Best Supporting Actor award.

"The Attorney" director, Yang Woo Seok, snagged the award for Best Director.

Furthermore, "The Attorney" raked in two more awards for Best Picture and Best Movie Trailer. In total, the movie scored 7 awards.

"The Attorney" bested 723 productions, which included 164 Korean movies, 556 foreign films, and 3 collaboration projects. The movies included in the nomination were those that aired from January 1 to December 31 last year.

The winners were also determined through an online voting process, which took place from January 15 to February 10.

"The Attorney" recently ended its successful run in the box office this February 26. Since its premiere, the movie has accumulated 11.36 million admissions. "The Attorney" has been catapulted as the 8^th top-grossing movie of all time in Korea.
