Earlier this year, Yang Hyun Suk announced that a solo release for Taeyang will be released around September. However, things didn't push through and instead Taeyang's Big Bang co-member G-Dragon released his second solo instalment, "Coup d'etat".
However, rumours have been going around regarding a possible Taeyang comeback this October, and with double title tracks to beat.
According to one insider, "Taeyang is currently putting the finishing touches on his solo album. Taeyang personally participated as a producer for this album and put his heart and soul into the production which is why the album release date was pushed back later than expected."
In addition, Taeyang has also filmed the music video for one of his double title tracks, hinting that the Big Bang crooner will return to the stage very soon.
The expected date of release is around mid-October.
With that said, fans can expect a big comeback from a more powerful Taeyang.
As for his co-members, G-Dragon is breaking records as he continues to dominate the album charts with mega hits "Crooked", "Who You?", "Coup d'etat", and "Black".
Seungri, on the other hand, has recently been selected to join the cast of the Japanese TV Show, "Motezo 100". Starting September 27, he will be the first foreign artist to host a TV program in Japan.
T.O.P is also making headlines for his role in the upcoming film, "Alumni".
