SHINee's Key tugged at his fans' heartstrings when he showed his genuine concern for a fan on Instagram.

Recently, a fan uploaded a photo of her SHINee-Key bracelet on her arm. However, cuts were evident all over the person's arm, who described herself as "cutter". After seeing the photo, Key not only showed his kindness to his fan, but also shared some words of encourage.

On Instagram Key wrote, "Hi 'Cutter'! I don't know what [your name is] so I'll call you 'Cutter' for now. I know sometimes you can feel your life [sucks or your having a difficult time] but everybody is [struggling], too. Stop cutting. I had really a bad habit when I was young, and I stopped, but I still have a scar on my body. Don't cut anymore and show me you're getting better on your Instagram. I'll be by your side. Love, Key."

After finding out what Key had done for her, the fan wrote in shock, "Oh my God!  [Key] reacts on my pic. I'm shaking. I love you, Key! This made my life. I'm going to stop cutting for you. Thank you for saving my life." The fan also showed a photo of herself throwing away blades, expressing her determination to live a better life free from cutting.

With this recent feat, Key has shown to fans the power of kind words and open hearts, that even such a simple task of reaching out can touch someone and save a life.
