Kim Hyun Joong Admits He's Not Confident About SS501 Anymore

In a recent interview, Kim Hyun Joong opened up about his thoughts on a possible SS501 reunion. "Inspiring Generation" star Kim Hyun Joong recently sat down for an interview with Star Today to talk about the possibility, or lack thereof, of an SS501 reunion.

"Inspiring Generation" star Kim Hyun Joong recently sat down for an interview with Star Today to talk about the possibility, or lack thereof, of an SS501 reunion.

Kim Hyun Joong expressed, "I think it's a good thing I left [SS501] while the group was still receiving a lot of love from the public."

He continued, "I don't consider the group disbanded. But in this state (referring to how the members now belong to different agencies), where we can't even use our own group name is a difficult situation to deal with."

About a possible reunion, Kim Hyun Joong said, "Of course, there's also the thought of reuniting and being able to go on a tour together and do concerts, as well as other inceptives involved with us reuniting. Honestly, in my opinion I don't want to use cherished moments from the past just for commercial gain. It would make more sense to do whatever we want to do as a group if we're all ready for it and we all want it. I don't want to turn our happy memories into different ones."

Furthermore, Kim Hyun Joong said, "When I meet up from time to time with the other members who are also busy with their individual projects, we talk about doing something together once we get the chance. Some ask if releasing a new song would be enough, but I honestly tell them I'm not that confident about SS501 anymore. That's how open we are with each other nowadays."
