Crayon Pop appeared on the April 8 broadcast of Mnet's "Beatles Code 3D" where they discussed their massively popular track "Bar Bar Bar" along with their trademark helmets.

The group said, "When we first heard 'Bar Bar Bar,' we found it really strange.  It was no joke.  (In the early drafts) a part of the lyrics was, 'I got sonar can is plain.'  Afterwards, it went right to 'jumping, jumping' with no 'bar bar bar.'"

The song was originally written for their rookie group K-Much, which debuted after Crayon Pop. However, their CEO decided that the song was more fitting for Crayon Pop due to the "jumping" part. The girls shared, "The chief said that 'jumping' seemed more fit for a girl group, so we ultimately came to sing it."

MC Shin Dong Yup also took note of how Crayon Pop discontinued the use of their trademark helmets. He asked, "How do you feel now that the helmets are off?"

Crayon Pop said, "The helmets were uncomfortable, so now we feel really comfortable. We were also greatly embarrassed by the helmets, but we are that embarrassed of the bandanas. We would sweat in the summer, so [the helmets would've been] troublesome and difficult."

Orange Caramel's Nana, who was also a guest on the show, commented, "[Now that you're only wearing bandanas], your faces actually look smaller."
