Akdong Musician Talk About Plastic Surgery Clause in YG Entertainment Contract

The sibling duo opened up about the specific "no plastic surgery" clause on their contract with YG Entertainment.

Talented sibling duo Akdong Musician recently sat down for an interview for the April 9 broadcast of SBS' "One Night of TV Entertainment". On the show, the duo revealed a specific clause pertaining to plastic surgery on their YG Entertainment contract.

Lee Chan Hyuk opened up about the plastic surgery clause. "When we drafted the contract, we told [the agency], 'We will not undergo plastic surgery.'" Curious, the MC asked, "There's a plastic surgery clause?"

The sibling singers explained that the plastic surgery clause didn't exist on the first draft, but they specifically asked for it to be included in the  final contract. Lee Chan Hyuk shared, "They were like, 'We're not [making you do plastic surgery,']" making hand gestures to express his doubts.

He added, "However, after finishing our promotional activities for our first album, I want to get my teeth fixed. I feel a bit burdened by my side profile when I'm in front of the camera."

Lee Soo Hyun commented, "You feel burdened by your profile? Then what about my nose?" evoking laughter from the group.

Lee Chan Hyuk also said, "Soo Hyun is in charge of aegyo while I'm responsible for composing and the visuals." He further impressed everyone when he revealed that he has composed 80 songs so far.
