Jewelry's Yewon Gets a Role in the Drama "Hotel King"

Yewon is now added in the drama "Hotel King" Member of girl group, Jewelry, Yewon was cast in the MBC weekend drama, “Hotel King. ” Yewon made her small screen debut in MBC’s “Miss Korea,” which ended last February.

Member of girl group, Jewelry, Yewon was cast in the MBC weekend drama, “Hotel King.”

Yewon made her small screen debut in MBC’s “Miss Korea,” which ended last February. She the role of Oh Ji Young’s colleague, Lee Yeon Hee and had many opportunities to appear in front of the camera. But, her appearances lessened towards the middle of the drama and she dropped out before the drama ended.

While the drama was still ongoing, she was featured on MBC’s “Radio Star” and sent a video message asking the production staff of the drama to give her more time in front of the camera on the drama and showed a strong will.

Though she was disappointed, Yewon has been able to focus on her role in “Hotel King.”

In "Hotel King", she will be in the role of Yoon Da Jung, who has a job as a concierge at the hotel to train to become a chaebol wife.

A representative from her agency said, “She was greatly disappointed for the brief appearance she made in her first drama, but fortunately, she will be getting more camera time this time around. Expectations are even higher since the role fits well with her personality. She is gaining a great learning experiences as well working alongside veterans actors like Lee Duk Hwa and Kim Hye Sook.”
