Following suit with other artists who have pushed back their activities, female soloist Gummy has announced that she will be postponing her comeback until further notice, in light of the Sewol ferry accident.
Gummy's agency, C-JeS Entertainment, told OSEN on April 23, "After having a meeting recently, we decided to postpone [Gummy's] comeback... We are currently adjusting her exact schedule. We also plan to delay her concert."
This comeback will be Gummy's first in four years. She planned for a comeback in May since it is considered "the happiest and brightest [time of year]. She has planned to postpone her comeback to respect the tragic accident and the nation in mourning.
Gummy is one of the many artists scheduled to make their comebacks, but postponed in respect of the recent Sewol Ferry tragedy that claimed the lives of more than a hundred passengers, most of which were students on their way to a field trip in Jeju Island.
