Mnet has decided to cancel the episode of its music show 'M! Countdown' and EXO's new reality show 'xoxo EXO' on May. The station perceives that it still early to air these kind of shows.
CJ E&M announced on May 1, "'M! Countdown' and 'xoxo EXO' have been suspended."
Similar to the other major broadcast stations, CJ E&M have revealed that most their produced programs will have their comeback with the exception of comedy shows like tvN's 'SNL Korea' and 'Comedy Big League' and music shows. 'TROT X', which is still in talks on when they will be returning on air.
CJ E&M stated, "We will edit out the laughing sound effects as much as possible... In the case of talk shows, we plan to be careful with the content. We will carefully edit according to the level of appropriateness."
The whole entertainment industry have postponed a lot of comebacks, variety shows and even dramas about two weeks ago in respect to the families and the victims of the sinking of the Sewol ferry happened which have involved of hundreds of lives, missing and others passing away. Still, a lot of music shows and comedy shows are in halt and are still being decided on when to resume.
