While, a few members of EXO have been more vocal about Kris’ issue than most, fans are still wondering how the group members are really responding to the issue and what they think will most likely come out of this.

As the group is deep in preparation for their upcoming three-day concert, Kris’ shook the K-pop hemisphere with the announcement that he’s filing a lawsuit against SM Entertainment, seeking to have his contract with the agency voided. What’s more surprising is the members’ reactions, who, according to Sehun, did not have any prior knowledge about Kris decision and are currently finding it difficult to understand his actions.

In a recent interview with Chinese media outlet QQ (Tencent), the members of EXO-M, the sub-unit which Kris is a part of, shared their thoughts on Kris’ lawsuit saga.

Lay said, "Our EXO members are carrying out our activities and have no issues with our agency."

Chen expressed, in behalf of the rest of the group, the hurt they felt by Kris' announcement. "All of the members are having a difficult time and were hurt by this. It is sad that this happened right before our concert which we've been dreaming about for a long time."

Tao, who's been more firm with his statements, said, "Pulling this kind of action without consulting any of us as we await our world tour which is important to all of us is unacceptable and it is a bad act of betrayal [can also be understood as 'it is an act of bad faith']."

Xiumin, on the other hand, confirmed that the Kris did not consult any of the members before he made his decision, thus leaving them all dumbfounded by the sudden news of his desire to have his contract with SM Entertainment voided. "It's very bewildering that such a thing has happened. But even during a time like this, our 11 members will unite and put our all into preparing for our concert to keep our promise with fans. We are One!, Xiumin said.

As for Luhan, the group's current priority is their upcoming concert. "Our 11 members all think the same way and will focus on preparing for our concert. We hope that there will be no more malicious public sentiment," hinting that there is a strong possibility Kris will not be able to return by the time of their concert or never at all.

In a previous statement, SM Entertainment revealed that they have already given Kris a final notice to return to Korea so that they can decide his participation in the upcoming concert. In the meantime, his attendance remains uncertain while the rest of the 11 members proceed with preparations for their much-awaited first solo concert.

EXO’s first solo concert, “The Lost Planet”, will be held at the Olympic Gymnasium , Seoul on May 23-25.
