YG CEO, Yang Hyun Suk Starts a Foundation for Children in Need

The YG CEO shows his soft heart as starts his own foundation for children CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk has started the YG Foundation, making a 1,000,000,000 Korean won (US$ 1 million) to help young people in need.

CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk has started the YG Foundation, making a 1,000,000,000 Korean won (US$ 1 million) to help young people in need.

In celebration of YG Entertainment’s 18th birthday, Yang Hyun Suk founded the charity having the same name with of his company on May 20.

The full name of the charity is Muju YG Foundation, making “muju” meaning “ownerless” in Korean. It is supposed to show how the charity will continue helping those in need and strive for change. The Foundation has also teamed up with YG artists’ philantrophy project “YG WITH Campaign.” Led by Sean and Jung Hye Won couple with several YG artists and employees joining, “YG WITH Campaign” has quietly helped heart patients through supporting the “Dream Gift” project since 2009.

The donations given to the foundation will be for scholarships and medical support for children in need.
