SBS most in-demand drama series "You Who Came From The Stars" holds the most nominations at this year's 50^th Baeksang Arts Awards. Will the drama be able go home with a perfect winning streak?

While "You Who Came From the Stars" continues its worldwide domination with re-runs in various countries across Asia, the mega hit drama series is gaining all the more attention with its number of nominations at the 50^th Baeksang Arts Awards. What's more, there's growing anticipation as to how many awards the series will actually bag at the event, which will be held tonight, May 27, at the Kyunghee University Grand Peace Palace.

In particular, "You Who Came From the Stars" is up for nine nominations: Jang Tae Yoo PD for the Directing Award, Park Ji Eun writer for the Scriptwriting Award, Kim Soo Hyun for the Actor Top Excellence and Actor Popularity Awards, Jun Ji Hyun for the Actress Top Excellence and Actress Popularity Awards, Park Hae Jin for the Actor Popularity Award, Lyn′s My Destiny for the OST Award, and finally "You Who Came From the Stars" for the Drama Series Award.

This is the highest number of nominations for the television category in the whole history of the Baeksang Arts Awards.

In recall, a huge buzz was already going around prior to the official premiere of "You Who Came From the Stars" as it was Jun Ji Hyun's comeback project after years of hiatus from the drama series department. During its run, "You Who Came From the Stars" recorded recording-breaking high ratings, consistently exceeding the 20% rating bench mark, proving its massive success and appeal to the viewers.

Currently, "You Who Came From the Stars" is being broadcasted throughout Asian countries such as Philippines, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
