To delight their fans even more, EXO has announced that they will be holding more special performances for "Overdose" this week.
The group has been promoting "Overdose" as sub units EXO-K and EXO-M to consequently hold shows in Korea and China. However for this week's music shows broadcast, EXO will be coming together as a complete group of 11. On June 5's Mnet "M! Countdown", June 7's MBC "Music Core", and June 8's SBS "Inkigayo", EXO will perform "Overdose" together.
This is certainly a huge treat for fans, especially since "Overdose" has been achieving huge success since it first came out early in May. Just recently, EXO-K received a triple crown on "Inkigayo". They've also scored number ones on "M! Countdown", "Music Core" and "Show Champion".
For their latest triple crown win on "Inkigayo", EXO-K defeated Fly to the Sky and INFINITE. Due to their busy schedules, the boys unfortunately were not able to receive their trophy.
Over at China, EXO-M is also doing extremely well with promotions. "Overdose" rocked CCTV's "Global Chinese Music", where they've bagged number one titles for two weeks in a row.
"Overdose" has been a huge success so far for EXO. The album recorded the most number of pre-orders with 660,000 copies. They made a new record on Billboard 200 charts as the highest ranking Korean male artist. During the first day of release for "Overdose", the album and the song topped multiple charts in Korea, earning the group an "all kill" title.
What's more EXO recently wrapped up their successful and explosive first ever concert titled "The Lost Planet", which was held on May 23, 24, 25. The boys also had a concert in Hong Kong on June 1 and tonight, June 2 at the Hong Kong Expo Arena. Furthermore, they are looking forward to their shows in Wuhan (June 14) and Chongqing (June 28).
