Taeyang is now officially back as he releases the digital form of his second solo album, “Rise,” and music video for title track “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” on midnight June 2 (KST).
With the title, “Rise,” this new album has a total of nine tracks and will be Taeyang’s first studio album after four years with his 2010’s “Solar.” Taeyang have shared numerously to this new album as a composed and wrote some of the songs. He is co-author to the title track “Eyes, Nose, Lips” together with YG Entertainment’s resident producer Teddy. The song has been composed by Teddy, DEE.P, and Rebecca Johnson.
“Eyes, Nose, Lips” is different from the recent Taeyang title tracks, stripped away of a focus on dance performance. Alternatively, the slow R&B song shows Taeyang’s deep emotional voice.
Though there will only one title song, fans will be thrilled that there will be three music videos; one for “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” one for “1AM,” and one for “Body” which will be the follow up song to the title track. The music video for “1AM” is set to be released on June 10, 1:00 AM in conjunction with the album’s physical release. The music video for “Body” will be released mid-June.
Taeyang will be heating up the summer with the release of his Korean album in June, and also his Japanese debut solo album and will be having a solo concert tour in Japan on August.
