"Laws of the City" Producer Says Baek Jin Hee Received Love Call From Hollywood During New York Filming

"Laws of the City" producer Lee Ji Won shared some of the experiences the cast had in New York.

Upcoming SBS variety show "Laws of the City in New York" recently held a press conference on June 3 at the SBS Broadcasting Center. The press conference was attended by show's cast as well as members of the production team.

"Laws of the City" producer Lee Ji Won shared some of the experiences the cast had in New York, "While the members were in the process of getting jobs, they visited the production site for American drama 'Good Wife' through personal connections. They also met the producer of the production and, even more, one of our members might have done something in various American dramas. You can find out through the broadcasts."

The producer continued, "In addition, while [Baek Jin Hee] was looking for a job as a baby sitter, a person who writes Hollywood movie scenarios contacted us, saying that she would match a character in his work so well that he requested a meeting. They actually had a meeting after which they said they would contact us. I don't know if they really got in touch or not, but if she does get to advance into Hollywood, I hope that she mentions 'Laws of the City'."

Other than Baek Jin Hee, other cast members on "Laws of the City in New York" include Kim Sung Soo, Lee Chun Hee, Jung Kyung Ho, Baek Jin Hee, Ailee, John Park, and Royal Pirates' Moon.

The variety show will air on June 11 and it will feature some cast members get involved in American TV dramas during their stay in New York.

"Laws of the City" is a spin-off of the hit variety show "Laws of the Jungle". Instead of showing how the cast survive the jungle, "Laws of the City" will follow the cast as they try to adapt to the lifestyle and culture of a new city, and in this case New York.
