TAHITI's Jung Bin Leaves Group Due to Health Issues, Will Be Replaced By New Member

TAHITI member Jungbin will no longer be joining the group's activities for their impending comeback this June 12 as she has formally made her exit from the group. Her reason for leaving primarily involves health issues, and it is not yet clear if her leave is only temporary or permanent.

According to DreamStar Entertainment's official statement, TAHITI will join then star-studded list of comebacks this June as they will present their new track "Oppa, You're Mine" this June 12.

They agency wrote on their official website, "TAHITI will make their comeback with a new song on June 12. [TAHITI] showed a powerful performance and standout stage manners during their active promotions for title track 'Love Sick' from their 1st mini album last July so fans' anticipation for their next album is rising."

Jungbin was part of the group's original line-up, and was known as TAHITI's oldest unni for their first single "Tonight", 2nd single "Hasta Luego", and 1st mini album "Love Sick" as well as the Star News MC for "yStar", during which she received love from fans due to her smooth and witty conversation skills.

However, to make up for the missing member, DreamStar Entertainment has confirmed that they will indeed introduce a new member. A rep said, "Ahead of their comeback, TAHITI are preparing to unveil a new member."

TAHITI's official fan café also responded to the news with the post, "Due to Jungbin's health, she'll be unable to join in as a TAHITI member this new promotion. It is a decision that was made as her treatment and rest were necessary, so we hope for her speedy recovery and that all the fans support her. Following this, Minjae, Miso, Jisoo, Ari, and the new member that will be revealed soon will be promoting as 5. Please give your interest and love towards TAHITI who are doing their best to prepare for their comeback. Thank you."
