Yoochun To Hold Special Fan Meeting in Japan for Drama "I Miss You"

Singer-actor Park Yoochun will be having a special fan meeting in Japan thus July as part of his activities for his popular drama series "I Miss You".

Singer and actor Park Yoochun will be having a special fan meeting in Japan thus July as part of his activities for his popular drama series "I Miss You".

On June 6, C-JeS Entertainment announced that Park Yoochun will be holding a special fan meeting on July 9 at the Yokohama Arena in celebration of his drama series "I Miss You".

The agency representative said, "The MBC drama series 'I Miss You', which stars Yoochun, became a huge hit [in Korea] and in Japan as well when it first aired last year. The love [fans] has shown for Park Yoochun's character Han Jung Woo has been tremendous. So even though it's been a year since the drama series concluded, we decided to push through with this fan meeting after witnessing how often 'Park Yoochun's special making of video' was aired on cable television."

The rep also added, "Based on reports from industry insiders, there's no doubt that Park Yoochun has become a huge Hallyu star in Japan. Also, Park Yoochun placed second last October for the 'Japan Hallyu 10th Anniversary Award.' Even though he currently does not have planned activities in Japan, his popular grows more immense than ever. Furthermore, it will be a great feat for Park Yoochun to hold a special fan meeting for a drama series that has wrapped up since a year ago."

Before heading to Japan for his fan meeting, Park Yoochun will also be in Guangzhou, China on June 14 and Shanghai on June 29.

In related news, C-JeS Entertainment has revealed that Park Yoochun and fellow JYJ member Kim Jaejoong will be enlisting in the army after the trio makes their comeback with a new album. JYJ is expected to drop a new album and do promotional activities in the latter part of this year. This will then be JYJ's first album since they released "The Beginning" in 2010.
