On June 11, BIGBANG’s Daesung gets the top spot of Japan’s iTunes Chart as he releases his latest Japanese single, “Rainy Rainy”.
The release of the mini album “Rainy Rainy” was followed by the announcement of Daesung’s solo arena tour in Japan titled, “D-LITE D Live Tour 2014 in Japan.” With its release, four tracks off the mini album had went into the real time ranking of Japan’s charts which includes iTunes and mu-no, getting the first to fourth places in the charts.
The mini album has two new Japanese tracks including the title track, “Rainy Rainy,” which is a medium ballad written by Daesung himself and the fresh and upbeat song “Hot and Cold.” It has also included the Japanese versions of the songs “Try to Smile” and “Look at Me, Gwi-sun” that got a lot of people hype at his solo tour last year.
Daesung is set to have his eight-leg, 15-show arena tour in Japan which starts on June 11, having two shows at the Yokohama Arena. This will be followed by stops at Kobe World Memorial Hall, Marine Messe Fukuoka, JBO Arena Sendai, Hokkaido Sports Center, Nippon Gaishi Hall, Nippon Budokan, and Osaka Jo Hall. The arena tour is set to have a total of 170,000 fans in total.
