BEAST’s latest release “Good Luck” has swept to the top of the Gaon Chart, according the to figures that had been released by the Korea Music Content Industry Association. The song is taken from the mini album of the same name.
A Gaon representative told the press, “’Good Luck’ has made it to the top spot in terms of overall digital rankings. BEAST also reached the top spot in the album charts for the last full week of June.”
In overall digital ranking figures take into statistics from account online performance, mobile sales and royalties gained for tracks’ use as background music in television programs and so on.
The figures showed that boy band’s song to the top spot among the latest release from Maroon 5, “Maps,” which finished in second place on the Gaon list. Making up the final spot in top three of the chart was “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness,” the hit duet by rapper San E and After School’s Raina.
