Super Junior's Shindong Says Goodbye to his Radio Program for Six Years!

Shindong is set to leave his radio program which he has worked with for six years After six years of being in MBC FM’s “Shimshimtapa”, Super Junior’s Shindong is set to leave his career as a DJ.

After six years of being in MBC FM’s “Shimshimtapa”, Super Junior’s Shindong is set to leave his career as a DJ.

SM Entertainment, Shindong's agency has revealed the reason for his leaving is due to the Super Junior member is set to enlist in mandatory military service and preparations for Super Junior’s new album. Shindong last broadcast will be on July 6th broadcast.

Shindong been working as a DJ for Shimshimtapa since April 2008, having a total of 6 years and 3 months on the job.

On 2009 he won an award for radio catagory from MBC Drama Awards, and a radio broadcasting sector award for 2013 MBC Entertainment Awards.

He stated, “I am happy that I can get a chance to greet a lot of listeners through radio.”

He still wishes that he could become a radio DJ again in near future.

Furthermore, singer Jung Junyoung will be replacing Shindong as the new DJ on the show.
