Super Junior Reportedly Preparing for September/October Comeback

Since Leeteuk's discharge from the military isn't too far off, Super Junior's comeback might also be in the works as well.

A few days ago, Super Junior's Siwon hinted that the group is working on an album. Specifically, he said, "I'm preparing for Super Junior's newest album, and traveling abroad and shooting movies." That, together with other hints being dropped by other members (Heechul recently shared a photo of him at a recording studio), fans are going crazy with speculations as to whether or not Super Junior will be making a comeback soon.

Sources say that the group is waiting until Leeteuk is discharged from the army later this month, before they proceed with production activities for their album. From this, it can be said that the group is expected to return sometime in September or October. A representative of SM Entertainment said, "When Leeteuk is discharged on the 29th, we're planning to work as fast as possible. We're already recording bit by bit. Super Junior's new album will be out in the fall."

This falls as an incredibly great news for ELF since it's been 2 years since Super Junior released an album as a complete unit (although Super Junior-M released "Swing" this year, and Donghae and Eunhyuk released material as a duo unit), and it has been 2 years since Leeteuk enlisted in the army.

However, Super Junior member Yesung won't be joining the gang since he's still fulfilling his military duties. Another question that's boggling fans is whether or not Shindong will still be able to participate in the album someway somehow. It has previously been revealed that the singer is stepping down from "ShimShimTaPa" to prepare for his enlistment.

A broadcast insider said, "The exact date for his enlistment has not been set yet. Both fans and members hope Shindong will enlist after Leeteuk is discharged so they can promote the 7th album together."
