Five-member girl group f(x) has stunned many with their latest concept for their upcoming comeback with "Red Light". While it is evident that the girls may be trying on a completely different concept compared to their colorful, youthful image, it seems that the girls' comeback will be more controversial than anticipated.

Broadcasting network KBS has slammed their strict censorship standards on f(x)'s latest track "Red Light". F(x) is the next group to be whipped and feel the wrath of KBS in terms of censoring inappropriate materials for broadcast. KBS has already motioned for "Red Light" to be banned from broadcast, and MBC is still debating on the issue.

KBS remains stern in their decision, and the track has been (and still is) categorized as "unsuitable for broadcast". The reason behind the ban is that the lyrics to the song have been found to make mention of a brand name, particularly Caterpillar, a well-known international equipment company.

MBC, on their behalf, said that they have not decided on whether or not to ban the song as they are still putting the song on thorough review, as well as its corresponding music video. A representative from the broadcasting company said that since they review contents on a weekly basis, the final decision can be expected this week.

SM Entertainment has also responded to the issue and they have addressed concerns by promising fans and the broadcast companies that they would edit sections of the song that have been deemed inappropriate. A representative commented, "We will also make revisions on the lyrics and will submit the revised version to the broadcast companies for re-examination. We will ensure the fans that f(x)'s activities will push through as originally planned."

What do you guys think about f(x)'s mature concept for "Red Light"? Yay or nay?
