Girls' Generation's YoonA is Confirmed to Star in the Drama “Nodame Cantabile”

Girls’ Generation's YoonA will be appearing in the KBS2’s upcoming drama, “Nodame Cantabile." Media reports said that the television network is currently working with SM Entertainment, the girl group member’s talent agency, to have their final contract with regards to the drama.

The drama is fromthe popular manga (Japanese graphic novels), which was then adapted for the television in a Japan and was airedin MBC last 2009.

Actor Joo Won has also confirmed to star in the Korean version, but K-pop fans will be delighted by the news that YoonA will be making her drama comeback having this concept. The Girls’ Generation member starred in the recent KBS2’s series “Prime Minister and I,” which ended in February this year.

Sources have reported that in the contractual negotiations as said by media outlet, Edaily, that YoonA has expressed a desire to take up the role.

The source reported, “YoonA wants the role very much and, through the course of several meetings, we have developed a great sense of mutual trust. We are proud – there could be no better casting decision than this.”
