Ever since they made their debut, Orange Caramel, sub-unit of After School, has gained a lot of success and attention for their unique and quirky group concept that is constantly evolving with every comeback. However, the girls said they took one big risk in joining the group because at the beginning there were fears that it would turn out to be a huge failure.
In a recent filming for "M! Countdown's 'Girls, Girls, Girls'" special, Orange Caramel dealt with the question that's always been running on fans' minds: "Your group color is very unique so did you sense that it would be a success from the start?"
Member Lizzy said, "To be honest, we thought it would be either a 'success or flop.' Either we release one album and quietly wrap up our [sub-unit] promotions or a lot of people like it. We thought there will be those who either love it or hate it."
Raina also talked about the hardship they went through as a sub-unit,saying, "Although it was emotionally difficult to adjust to the [concept], now I am working harder than anyone else."
In conclusion, Nana shared that she's happy she took part in Orange Caramel, "I think it was good that we did it."
Orange Caramel's latest release was "Catallena" which turned out to be another huge hit for the girls. Congratulations!
