Fans will now get the chance to enjoy more of Crayon Pop’s personal stories through the group’s upcoming comic book!

Chrome Entertainment said that they will soon release “Charge! Crayon Pop”, a comic book based on Crayon Pop’s actual story from simple girls to international sensations. The comic book will start selling on July 31 on Coupang. The series will come out with 5 books, starting from their pre-debut stages to the days they began promoting themselves by doing streetside guerilla concerts, and finally with their huge success with the infectious track “Bar Bar Bar”.

The members’ cartoon characters were drawn in SD to emphasize Crayon Pop’s cute and friendly image. The comic book will also feature behind-the-scenes stories that haven’t been told in interviews or shown on broadcasts. The comic book will also contain memoirs written by the girls themselves.

Chrome Entertainment said, "It's based on a true story and made so readers young and old can enjoy it. It's going to be like reading a fun comic. You can see Crayon Pop's full story in the comics, from performing streetside guerrilla concerts in the cold winter just in sweatsuits up to them winning #1 on the main channels. You can look forward to it."
