With the launching of EXO’s official fan club, EXO-L, thousands after thousands of fans stormed EXO-L’s official website (http://exo-l.smtown.com) shortly after it was made public.
SM Entertainment revealed that the official opening of the website yesterday, together with the launch of the mobile app, caused multiple server crashes due to overly heavy traffic just an hour after it was opened. It’s still currently down, and fans are clamoring to access the site and register for the fan club. Membership for which will grant fans access to exclusive material, live chats, and the likes including the boys of EXO.

SM Entertainment stated, "We made thorough estimations about the number of visitors, but the response was hotter than expected. We're doing our best to extend the servers for seamless communication. We want to express our thanks for the unexpected response."
