On the episode of SBS's 'One Night of TV Entertainment' on September 17, the show had looked further into the accident of Seungri as they asked witnesses and police that have seen what happened that night after the BIGBANG member attended YG Entertainment's launch party of 'NONA9ON.'
Though it was seem in the black box how the accident occurred, authorities have ruled out drunk driving and stated, "We completed the sobriety test on site. There was no numerical figure at all. In relation to the legal process, the key point is whether he was speeding. It looks like the clear situation will come out after the investigation is complete."
When asked if Seungri had admitted that he had a mistake on why the accident happened, the polic stated, "He admitted to it, so the insurance handling should have taken place perfectly," revealing Seungri had acknowledged it was his mistake that caused the accident.
A witness also told what happened by stating, "[Seeing Seungri's speeding vehicle], my heart was racing, so I was unable to drive properly. I thought it was a race car for youths," and revealed that he personally was driving at 70 to 80 km (~ 43 mph to 50 mph) while Seungri's Porsche passed his own at a high rate of speed.
Meanwhile, an appraisal expert have commented, "I don't think it was speeding, but it could be considered speeding that arose from drowsy driving. Seungri's car was going in a straight line, but as the road curved, the car crossed the lanes. It looks like he perceived the car [in front of him] and hit the brakes just before collision, but it was too late. It looks like he was driving while he was sleepy as he cut across a curving section [of the road] due to the extended operation of his driving straight."
Meanwhile, his agency has said that he is still in the hospital receiving treatmemt as they suspect a bleeading in his liver.
