Hyun Bin Reacts to Pan Entertainment's Erroneous Press Release of "Kill Me Heal Me"

The actor states that he has aleready dropped the casting in the drama Actor Hyun Bin has got his name dragged over the casting of the drama "Kill Me Heal Me" A Korean media site reported that Hyun Bin was in talks for the drama on September 27.

Actor Hyun Bin has got his name dragged over the casting of the drama "Kill Me Heal Me"

A Korean media site reported that Hyun Bin was in talks for the drama on September 27. However, Hyun Bin’s side issued a statement saying that he will no longer be casted since they have turned down the offer.

Meanwhile in the casting report, Pan Entertainment stated that they had asked Hyun Bin about his future commitments, but because of the character's nature which they later decided as a man in his 20s, Hyun Bin was removed from the list of possible lead actors. They also did not offer him a script or even called him regarding the drama. Pan Entertaintment then expressed their regret of having erroneous report which they stated, "could have negative effect on the tail end of their casting negotiations for the drama."

At this statement from Pan Entertainment, Hyun Bin’s agency, O& Entertainment reacted to Pan Entertainment. The agency stated that they had an inquiry in Hyun Bin’s schedule before the release of the scenario. However, regarding Pan Entertainment’s statement that Hyun Bin did not receive a script, O& Entertainment said that they did get a preliminary script but, had a decision not to take the role has been made about two months ago.

They stated, "We’re not sure for what reason Pan Entertainment released false information, but we feel it’s not right to degrade an actor with distortion of information," requesting to correct the report.

A statement from Pan Entertainment was released on September 30 regarding the first report released that stated Hyun Bin was in talks for the drama, happened to be allegedly stated by a representative of O& Entertainment. Though Hyun Bin’s agency called out to correct their statement, they sent out another report, however, Pan Entertainment stated that they Had efforts made to correct the report but was ignored.
