The 'mighty' Rain holds his first official fan meeting after his discharge from serving the military for two years obtaining a lot of worldwide fans.

The said event took place at Kyunghee University on October 12, was hosted by comedian Yoon Jung Soo, said to be his longtime friend and the one who also hosted his fan meeting back in 2005.

The singer stated,
"In the midst of my training life, I'm building a lot of good experiences like reading or watching movies," he said to the assembled crowd. "I want to do a type of concert where I can interact directly with my fans, beginning with my concert in Japan."

"Everything was possible due to my trusting fans who support me in everything," he continued. "I'm always thankful."

Rain showcased to his fans some of his hit songs, including "Rainism," "Fresh Woman" and "Friends." He also said, "I'm planning songs and stages with many strong points," he teased. "I want to show everyone what I'm good at, but I also want to show something new. But I certainly want to show something that will appeal not only in Korea, but throughout the world."
