It has been previously reported by Chinese media outlet, Sina that Kris also known as Wu Yi Fan has been in talks with one of the biggest entertainment agencies in China, Hwai Brothers. However, in a recent report by Ilgan Sports, Kris has not pushed through with Hanggeng's agency YUEHUA and has instead kept in touch with Hwai Brothers for his career in the country.
On October, a representative stated, "Kris failed to sign a contract with Hangeng's agency, YUEHUA," further explaining that the agency had seemed to feel the burden to sign up with Kris in addition to Hanggeng.
The representative went on, "It appears that Kris is going to be holding hands with Hwai Brothers instead of YUEHUA Entertainment. You can consider him at the stage right before stamping his seal on the contract."
Kris has been starting his career in China as an actor after being with Korean boy group, EXO. He debuted with EXO in 2012 and had a lot of chart topping songs. However, the idol had filed a lawsuit last May against SM Entertainment regarding the termination of his contract due to disagreement with regards to his activities. Kris then made his way in China as an actor, having his first acting stint with Chinese actress Xu Jinglei for the film "Somewhere Only We Know." Since then, Kris has been getting cast offers in China and has been starring in different films.
